How it works

From blank canvas to shareable timeline in five steps.

PrizmLine is designed to feel obvious by the third event you add. Here's the arc of using it.

  1. Start a matter

A matter is one timeline. Give it a name, add the people whose lanes you want to track — the decedent, the trustee, the contestant, or your friend group, or your team. Each person gets a color and a swim lane.

  2. Add events

Click anywhere on a lane to drop an event. Title, date, optional description, optional tags. Or import an existing .prizm file. Or paste a PDF or document and let the AI extractor propose events you accept one-by-one.

  3. Attach sources

Every event can carry text citations or linked files — court filings, photos, medical records, deeds. Excerpts render inline in the drawer so reviewers can see the receipt without opening the file.

  4. Invite collaborators

Send a share link or invite by email. Choose contributor (can add and edit) or viewer (read-only). Roles are enforced server-side. Live presence shows who's looking at the matter right now.

  5. Export or share

Print to PDF, export as a self-contained interactive HTML file you can email to opposing counsel, or share a read-only hosted link. The viewer is the same code whether you're editing or someone is reviewing — they get the real thing, not a screenshot.
